Advice for High School

Some advice my parents gave for high school was, to try and be involved with as many activities as possible. This was some of their advice for high school. They think that you should be involved in all the activities possible, because when you're older you will look back on all the memories, and it will give you a better time in high school, because you only have four years of high school. I think it is good advice for me and for others.

Some more advice that was given was to get the best grades possible, because if you go to college than they will look at your GPA from high school. I think this is good advice for me and others. I want to go to a good college and want good things to come out of it, so I will get the best grades possible.

And the last amount of advice my parents gave was to meet as many people as possible. And make many friends. I think this is really good advice for me and others as well. Because you will make more memories and you have only a little bit of time. In high school you have other people that you may not really know and it's your time to meet them.

School in a Perfect World

I don't find school all that bad. You go to seven classes and then you get to go home. Although I do hate having to get up at six in the morning and getting ready. I also hate having to stay up do homework, and work it all around everything else I have to do. But we all do have those bad days where you just want to do nothing and don't want to go to school.

So if I could go to school in a perfect world I would have a school that you could go to your classes, get your work and work on it. You could do whatever you wanted when ever. And to learn about how to do your homework your teachers would post a video on how to do your homework. They could post it on their own site for everyone to watch. So this way you can do your homework at your own pace and when you feel like it.

Another thing that would make school better would be to have one day every other week to be a fun. So there would be like games and activities that would just make it more fun.Something else in this perfect world of school is that at lunch you could have anything. In the cafeteria there would just be almost any food you could think of! And you would also be allowed to have your phone, iPod, or any electronic device out.

And last, I would make it so that school would only go for eight months out of the year. So you could have a longer time with, family, friends, and you could have more vacation time. I would also make all homework due three days after you got it. Unless it was a major project. I would find some way to make all of this work some how, but this I think would make school a lot better.

I believe I can...
I believe I can do anything that i set my mind to. When I achieve something that I work hard at it makes me so happy that i did something that I never thought I could accomplish. Sometimes people try at something but never finish it because they didn't think they can do it.

If you want it then you have to work for it. I always want the best grades I can get. In order for me to get those grades I have to do my homework to the best I can get it and then turn it in on time. I can go and do other things other then homework, but I want those grades, so I stay and do homework and study.

In the past I have rode in horse shows and wanted to receive blue ribbons. I kept getting a few reds and yellows, until I tried harder. So I set my mind to working hard at it till I got it right. I practiced all the time for a long time. I kept receiving the same ribbons over and over. So I worked harder at it. I put more time into practicing and finally after that I started getting better results. I received more of the blues, but still got reds here and there. If I had never stuck my mind to it, then I would have never reached my goal.
